I agree—interesting! Two questions:

1) Do you think something like this is scalable? Like, TRULY scalable? There are a lot of us.

2) I presume the degree of difficulty gets a lot harder in a humid climate; one of the advantages of AX in a continental climate is precisely that it’s drying, I think.

A really interesting article! We really are addicted to technology and energy consumption to resolve our problems from heating, cooling, recycling, cleaning and pumping water etc. In a period where fossil energy has been cheap and abundant we have looked to step away from nature (although physics and electro magnetism are still of course natural). It's time to look again for natural inspiration as our fossil fuels are warming our planet. We may even end up with more beautiful architecture, communal spaces, where local communities work together to solve problems.
